Batch WinFax2PDF is a WinFax fxr, fxs, fxm, fxd to pdf converter, able to convert WinFax fxd, fxm, fxr, fxs, fax to PDF files in batches. Both GUI and command line modes. No need of Adobe Acrobat.

Pros: Batch WinFax2PDF converts WinFax formats such as FXR, FXS, FXM and FXD into PDF documents. It has batch capabilities and can be installed as a command line application or a GUI. In the GUI version the interface is simple. You can set a file filter and specify source and destination files. There are some options available. Optionally you can choose to have sub-folders included in the conversion process when a folder is specified. You can retain the date and time stamp of the source file, retain the folder sub-folder hierarchy, include source file extension and opt to have scan lines recalculated. You can set automatic conversion when the application would periodically convert files in the source folder. The option lets you choose how often (every xx minutes) you want the conversion done. The application creates small PDF files in high compression mode and does not need Acrobat to be present.

Cons: There are typos in the interface messages.

Overall: A neat application for a specific job. It is easy to use and rates a 3 star.
